Introducing: Seiko Watches
We're excited to announce a new partnership with Seiko - maker of fine timepieces since 1881. Spicer Greene will be one of only 8 retailers in the country to carry Seiko's Spring Drive movement.
The story of Seiko began in 1881, when a 21 year old entrepreneur, Kintaro Hattori, opened a shop selling and repairing watches and clocks in central Tokyo. From the start he was determined to set himself apart, to be “always one step ahead of the rest.” And in 1892, that dream was realized, when Kintaro founded the Seiko Factory. Today, after more than 130 years of innovation, Kintaro Hattori’s company is still dedicated to the perfection that the founder always strove to achieve. Thanks to a continuous stream of industry-leading innovations over the decades, the company established, and has maintained its position as a world leader in the technology of time.

Spring Drive
Combining a precision mechanical movement with a quartz regulator, the Seiko Spring Drive blends the best of classic and modern timekeeping technology. The result is enhanced stability, durability and precision, with increased shock- and temperature-resistance, and a power reserve of up to 72 hours. Seiko Spring Drive watches have been worn both in space, at the International Space Station and on a spacewalk, and atop Mount Everest.
