Community Spotlight: Reilly Wilkes

Spicer Greene is excited to present our Love is Alive community spotlight series, where we celebrate community members who are doing their part to aid recovery efforts after Hurricane Helene. ⁠

Our first feature is friend-of-the-store Reilly Wilkes, the Operations Director of KRW Packaging. Prior to Helene, KRW manufactured collapsible water jugs for disaster relief all over the world. ⁠

Wilkes says she never expected that they would be needed here in WNC, but after the storm destroyed Asheville's water infrastructure, she contacted the Country Club of Asheville to see if they could use their pool as a source of non-potable water. ⁠

Since October 1st, Wilkes and her family have been filling their Smart Bottles with hand drill-powered pumps, and distributing them to anyone who needs them, including Spicer Greene Jewelers.⁠
